Entering a space

To enter a Waytale space, you simply click/tap the link to a space. Equivalently, you enter the URL of the desired space into the address bar of a modern, standard-compliant browser, such as Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Edge.

What you see

What you see after entring a space is split into two areas:

• Map view: Your avatar, others, and interactive gadgets in this map.
• Context view: Different content and functions appear here depending where you are in the map.

The context view has multiple tabs. The last tab is the settings tab.

Moving around

After clicking/tapping on the map view, the map becomes more colourful and you can move your avatar.

• If you have a keyboard, you can use the arrow and the WASD keys.
• If you have on a phone or tablet, you can use the controls that appear after clicking/tapping the map view.

What to do

If other people are online in the same map at the same time, you will see their avatar walking around.

Usually a map has "gadgets" placed in different spots. If you get close to them you can interact with them. Some gadgets can be used together with other people.

You might find spots that transport you to other maps. Each map is different and what you can do in each map is different too.
